The biggest amateur soccer tournament in the Midwest area
The year 2025 will be the first edition of the Lagos Super Cup, we are the largest amateur soccer tournament in the Midwest area of the United States where teams from the entire state of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Kansas and many more will participate.
All teams have the same level of competition so that everyone who loves soccer has the opportunity to participate and win great prizes.
This year we will have 32 teams that will be divided into eight groups of four teams each.
On top of the soccer tournament we offer a large variety of food trucks and food stands, carnival games for children, live music bands in English and spanish, DJs, and big raffles with awesome prizes such as 75" TVs and PS5s.

El Torneo Más Grande De Fútbol Amateur Del Medio Oeste
Este 2025 será la primera edición de La Supercopa Lagos, en el torneo mas grande de fútbol amateur de todo el medio oeste de Estados Unidos en donde participarán equipos de todo el estado de Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Kansas y muchos más.
Todos los equipos participantes son del mismo nivel para que a todos los que nos gusta el fútbol tengamos oportunidad de ganar grandes premios y participar.
Este año contamos con 32 equipos que se dividirán entre ocho grupos de cuatro equipos cada uno.
Aparte del torneo de fútbol también contamos con una gran variedad de puestos de comida, juegos para los niños, musican en vivo en inglés y en español, Djs y grandes rifas con grandes premios como televisores de 75 pulgadas y play stations 5.

Tournament Format
Our tournament format is designed to keep the excitement levels high! With 8 groups of four teams each in the group stage, followed by knockout rounds of sixteen, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the prestigious championship match, every moment is packed with action.
TEAMS WILL BE PLACED IN GROUPS ACCORDING TO THE DRAW, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES A TEAM CAN PICK WHAT GROUP THEY WANT TO BE IN.
Group stage
In the group stage, the teams in each group will face each other once and will try to earn as many points as possible in order to qualify for the next stage, which is the round of 16.
Only the top two teams in each group will advance to the round of 16.
- Each victory will add 3 points to the winning team.
- Each tie will add one point to each team.
- Losses do not add any points to the losing team.
In case that after all group stage games there are two or more teams with the same number of points, the goal difference will determine which team advances to the knock out round.
If two or more teams have the same numbered of points and same number of goal difference after playing the three group stage games, the number of goals scored will determine which team advances to the next round.
Knock Out Round of sixteen
In the round of 16, the teams will face off in the most challenging games of the tournament as the losing teams will be eliminated from the competition.
The rivals are determined according to the position in which the teams qualified after playing the three group stage matches, the first place in group A will face the second place in group B, the first place in the group B will face the second place in group A and so on.
In this phase of the tournament there is no extra time, if after regulation time the game ends in a tie, the teams will go directly to penalty kicks.
When games go to penalties, only three penalties are awarded to each team, NOT FIVE as many of us are used to.
Formato Del Torneo
¡Nuestro formato de torneo está diseñado para mantener altos los niveles de emoción! Con 8 grupos de cuatro equipos cada uno en la fase de grupos, seguidos de rondas eliminatorias de octavos de final, cuartos de final, semifinales y el prestigioso partido por la gloria de ser el campeón, cada momento está lleno de acción.
EN EL GRAN SORTEO SE DECIDIRÁ A QUE GRUPO VA CADA EQUIPO, POR NINGUNA RAZÓN NADIE PODRÁ ESCOJER EL GRUPO EN EL QUE VA ESTAR.
Fase De Grupos
En la fase de grupos los equipos de cada grupo se enfrentarán entre ellos una sola vez y tratarán de sumar todos los puntos posibles para así lograr clasificar a la siguiente fase que serían los octavos de final.
Solo los dos primeros equipos de cada grupo avanzarán a los octavos de final.
- Cada victoria sumará 3 puntos al equipo ganador.
- Cada empate sumará un punto a cada equipo.
- Las pérdidas no suman ningún punto al equipo perdedor.
En caso de que después de todos los juegos de fase de grupos tengamos dos equipos o más con la misma cantidad de puntos, la diferencia de goles determinará cuál equipo avanza a la siguiente ronda.
Si dos equipos o más tienen la misma cantidad de puntos y de goles después de jugar los tres juegos de fase de grupos, la cantidad de goles a favor determinará cuál equipo avanza a la siguiente ronda.
Octavos de Final
En los octavos de final, los equipos se enfrentarán en los juegos más desafiantes del torneo ya que el perdedor quedará eliminado.
Los rivales se determinan de acuerdo a la posición en la que los equipos clasificaron después de jugar los tres partidos de la fase de grupos, esto significa que el primer lugar del grupo A se enfrentará al segundo lugar del grupo B, el primer lugar del grupo B se enfrentará al segundo lugar del grupo A y así sucesivamente.
En esta fase del torneo no hay tiempo extra, si después del tiempo reglamentario el juego termina en empate, los equipos se irán directamente hasta los tiros de penal.
En caso de llegar a los penales, solo se le otorgan tres penales a cada equipo, NO SON CINCO como estamos acostumbrados.
